Marketing leadership for companies built to last.

Hi, I'm Laura. I help established B2B companies modernize their marketing, and step confidently into their next chapter.

My story

I've spent 15 years leading marketing for B2B companies in the industrial sector, businesses with complex sales cycles, technical buyers, and deeply relationship-driven cultures. I've built marketing functions from the ground up, repositioned legacy brands, led go-to-market launches, and guided leadership teams through major transitions.

What I kept noticing was a specific kind of company that needed me most: well-run businesses with a real track record, where a founder or patriarch was passing the torch to the next generation, and marketing was suddenly on the agenda in a serious way for the first time.

These companies don't need a startup playbook. They need someone who understands their world, respects what they've built, and knows how to modernize without blowing it up.

That's exactly what I do.

I became a Fractional CMO because I wanted to work with more of these companies at once, bringing the same senior-level expertise to multiple leadership teams without them having to take on the cost and risk of a full-time hire.

Working With Me

  • I'm not a generalist consultant who parachutes in with a generic playbook. I have deep B2B roots (particularly in industrial sectors) which means I understand complex sales cycles, technical buyers, and relationship-driven markets.

I've led marketing functions, managed teams, presented to boards, and delivered measurable results across multiple industries. I don't just strategize and hand you a deck. I work alongside your team, tell you what you need to hear (not just what you want to hear), and stay until the job is actually done.

  • Every engagement starts the same way: I listen. I take time to understand your business — where it's been, where you want to take it, and where marketing has fallen short. From there, I build a focused, realistic plan tied to outcomes that matter. I embed myself in your leadership team — joining executive and board meetings, managing the marketing function, mentoring internal staff, and making sure strategy doesn't just exist on paper.

When my work is done and your team can carry it forward without me, that's when I know I've done my job.

  • I work best with established B2B companies where marketing has been an afterthought or simply hasn't kept pace with the business.

My ideal clients are leaders who are serious about growth, open to honest feedback, and ready to invest in marketing as a real function rather than a line item. You don't need to have all the answers; that's what I'm here for. But you do need to be willing to trust the process, give me access to the right people, and commit to doing this properly. If that sounds like you, we'll work well together.
